Terry Cline is the Founder and CEO of DwellRight, with over 30 years of professional experience offering SpaceBehavior Consultations for Home and Office, Custom Residential Designs and Public Presentations.

Previously, Terry was also Founder & C.E.O. of Sustainable Environments, out of Portland, ME, Additionally co-founded by Terry and architectural colleague and Professor Emeritus of Architecture, Roger Richmond was SpaceTherapy, Inc. a design/behavior pre and post-occupancy analysis service dealing with the psycho-social impact of designed environments on human behavior.

Benefiting from a pre-major focus in business and fine art, while graduating with an Associate Degree in Architecture, Terry landed an equally, if not more, valuable eight year apprenticeship with the award-winning Frank Lloyd Wright inspired firm, Huygens and Tappe’. He simultaneously acquired postgrad education at Boston Architectural College

Terry’s career was also enriched with a year’s carpenter apprenticeship with an old-school craftsman for the construction of an ocean-front residence. Having collaborated on the design of the residence, his carpentry experiences afforded him a deeper understanding of and respect for the construction industry, and the joy of collaborating with quality builders.

Western Mass Coaching Alliance had also been a long-standing platform for helping others better use existing spaces and furnishings . Gifted with immediate awareness of how to turn a house into a supportive sanctuary and an office into a high-performance operation, Terry offers rural and urban dwellers individual and group support with a unique combination of skills as a SpaceBehavior coach, consultant and licensed architect.

Terry’s also an advocate for architect colleague Sarah Susanka’s “Not So Big Design Principels” that he has demonstrated can be implemented at various price points.

Beyond his professional life and enriching travels within US, Canada and Europe, he has fond memories of previous experiences as a visual and graphic artist, jewelry designer-maker, sculptor; and currently an occasional guitar noodler, spiritual/sense-maker enthusiast, spouse, and father of five remarkable and beautiful adult souls.

Currently Terry lives in a 1760’s renovated farm house on a hilltop in central MA with his partner Tricia, their adult son Will, cats Yoko and Yaz, three hens and a not so friendly bobcat!!

Besides a crash pad for visiting daughters, Whitney, Hilary, Ayla and Kira, this old house also serves as a studio for DwelllRight day long workshops.
